So feels almost a year after the trip (not actually that far away now, july =) the pictures decided to take form on the internet. I’ve been talking so much about Nepal the last month so i figgured i would take the time to upload the pictures. To those that still (are you here? =) are watching my blog where not much is happening.

I have almost decided again to stick to this blog and not the other one as i’ve stated in the old post. Mostly due to having more time to get involved in the WordPress interface and getting to know it much better than before. Still there are a few hustles to be done with the galleries and stuff but what the heck. I could imagen that you just want to see the pics in a nice way and hence i dont need to be that pedantic with my blog =)

So i hope you will enjoy the pictures. Im probably saying to much now but i’ll try to get the movies on here as well as they are the most action filled stuff =) But that is another mission in time. Till then…

Hey everyone!

I had some time over to make a few changes. Soon this site will be no more, i just need to switch a few things. The new layout and form will be like the one here http://www.octodur.com. The address will be the same as now, i just need to figgure out how to put the same content thats there onto here. After some time of trial and error finaly found a good system that makes me work fast to upload pictures and what not more. Have a look at the new page and expect some new changes really soon.

So with most of you now knowing that im going home for a while i would like to spare the stories and all that for the nice evenings we will have. So to mention the New Years here comes a draft from todays HindustanTimes (HT) City newspaper. See you all!

Time to make the news!

Well decided to let you in on what im doing at the moment and why everything is taking such time =) We have and event coming up on the 4th of December in “our” club called Manré. Its called Super Species and its the whole house gang thats going to preform. Nick and Ankit are doing the music, some dj and some live and i will be responsible for the visuals.

So a lot of time is put into ripping hindi movies since we want to connect the music with the ethnic culture and that its not to easy. Taken almost a whole day now to find the right software and setup to do this as fast and comfortable as possible. Since after all is set we can almost do everything automatically.

I’m still experimenting with HDR photos and my panoramas but im not quite getting the results i want to have so again…more time =) Anyway xmas going on soon, new month and a new year…something exciting to look forward to ;)

Im still around =) Living in Delhi (Gurgaon) with a 3 friends and our dog Awsome ;) I’ve been working on getting some pictures up but tend to get stuck in the programs for optimization. A preview will come here so check it out HERE. Im trying to get some of the pictures in really good quality so i can make a nice gallery for you but it takes time =) Anyway all is great here, might head over to Goa for a week or two and then we will see =)

Im going to have one clean up blog day so stay tune for more goodies =)

Yep its done, 30 days in the monsoon, two people, one overloaded bike and loads of landslides, mud, water and A+ AMAZING scenery! Big ups to everyone that told us not to go to nepal since its not season here right now…well you just missed the best time in nepal =) Anyway we havent had internet or phones to call out so thats why one month has just dissapered from here =) But the results is…over 20gb of material (video & pictures) so we are going to make a movie about the trip.

All in all Nepal is kickass! Amazing landscape and very friendly and helpful people here! I cant even write about it…it needs to be experienced.

Anyway so you all know…we are alive and going back to india tomorrow. So updates will come soon!

Well been having a relaxed weekend where i’ve done some computer work. I’ve decided to launch a new platform called joomla, but its gonna take some tries so until then you can check out the latest blog news on http://www.octodur.com

Mind you that the site is still under configuration and all articles are not complete. Its mostly put there for the shout box and the pictures. When ever you see a picture hold your mouse over its right corner and a arrow will aper. This means that its a gallery of pictures, so just click on the arrow or when you have clicked the image use your arrows on your keypad to navigate.

Many more features will be implemented in the future, as we move along. Until then enjoy and bare with me while the updates come. And write in the shout box! Its a live chat =))

Well that was it! One week ago we decided to go up the villages in Kasol (Parvati) Valley and one hour before the buss leaves three of our friends decided they wanted to go to Manali insted. So we went without them and boy did they miss something! The view up there was amazing! All in all we went up to 3000m above sea level in the village called Kheer Ganga. A small and quite place as you will see on the pictures. A nice hotwater spring that never stops flowing and a landscape you cant imagine. It took us 8 hours to walk from Tosh (downer village) up to there as we where told it was a shortcut. In the end a way that normaly takes 4h to walk took us the dubble. But we went through two ganja feilds and a VERY deep forest! Uphill on the cliffs, past a big black rock with smal grip for the feets and curled trough the sheep paths on the mountain. We came down from the mountain and stoped for a while near a montain god and there we meet up with some other people. They had been walking for one hour when we saw them, but enough of this. The walk from the “normal” path was at first a bit boring, we where used to dangerous passes and now its all a path. But when you came to Nekthon, one of the villages on the way, the view and landscape became as a fairytale. Waterfalls at almost every corner, two villages where you enter through a big stream of water, AMAZING. I wont try to describe it but i’ll see if i can put on the pictures today or if i’ll do it later when i get to Manali.

The experience was amazing and i actually enjoyed the 8h trekking we did, very nice to see that your own body can manage such a walk and those heights. Anyway more than that i dont have, i’ll let the pictures speak for them selves =)

Tomorrow we are going to Manali to see Ram and Rajo that both have started up something in Manali now. So it will be cool to see how its all going and also see if i can find a homebase there to really start working on all my projects abroad. But while there i think i’ll have my own internet connected again or at least be more available on the internet =)

So arrived at Kasol around 6am in the morning, nothing open so all to do is wait. Conclusion was not to go on the night…dharamsala to kasol during day would been so much better. No one could sleep in the jeep, the driver was playing first himachal local music and then turned on some crazy techno/goa/trance from 1952. So old and so hectic and it was in the middle of the night…haha.

Anyway staying at a nice guesthouse called Sunny Place (not to much sun now though) room is simple with nice bed. Doing some yoga in the morning =) actually first day today but still its done.

Not much one can do here since its been raining all day, wind blowing and some cold. My friends from israel find it very cold here, but its nothing like the swedish winter or even easter =) The mountain view is so amazing! I have one plan to get up to a hill next to the snowy mountain but we will see if that is possible.

My cold is going away, been eating good and starting to feel a bit better. The stomake is still as it was but its going there i think =) Soon might be going up the villages and then head of to manali for a while. I’ll see if i can be at the Melah in Banjar on the 15th, would be nice to see it this year as well =)

So its time now! Not sure if i told you i am in Dharamsala now but today im going to Kasol for a while. To hot here…again…hopefully it will be a little cooler there or at lest something else to do! =) I dont have internet on the laptop now, we will see if it works in kasol then i’ll recharge it for a month and try to update you on whats going on. Soon i have to end the vacation and find some work. I’ve been finding some people on the road that might need my services but we will see how far we can go with this. I might end up in a callcenter down south and speak to you when your laptop is giving you problems =)

Anyway im fine, or surviving at least, with a cold and a stupid ear infection and a bad stomake but to hell with it, i’ll manage =) Its only for a while and now im going to a new place so that might work in my favour as well.

Other than that its not much to say, i’ll pack the bag and be on my way…
